About the event
This session will cover everything you need to know about growing flowers from seed. We've designed this session to be suitable for city growers who have limited space and no greenhouse, but the skills we'll be teaching will be helpful to all. This workshop is a repeat of our other Success with Seeds workshop held in April but we will be focussing on half hardy annuals. These seeds will flower for you from late August. We've carefully chosen "cut and come again" varieties in complementary colours and textures that will give you a long flowering season. You do not need any prior experience of growing but this course would also benefit gardeners who want to streamline their seed sowing. You will leave this session with:
- Mini germinators in which you've sown your hardy annual flowers
- A selection of "pricked out" seedlings for you to grown on before planting out
- Two hours of mindful peace in our polytunnel immersing yourself in soil and seeds and refreshed with cake and coffee.
