About the event
This session will cover everything you need to know about growing flowers from seed. We've designed this session to be suitable for city growers who have limited space and no greenhouse, but the skills we'll be teaching will be helpful to all. We've carefully chosen "cut and come again" varieties in complementary colours and textures that will give you a long flowering season. You do not need any prior experience of growing but this course would also benefit gardeners who want to streamline their seed sowing. You will leave this session with:
- Mini germinators in which you've sown your hardy annual flowers
- A selection of "pricked out" seedlings for you to grown on before planting out
- A selection of half hardy annuals for you to sow at a later date to extend your flowering season.
- Two hours of mindful peace in our polytunnel immersing yourself in soil and seeds and refreshed with cake and coffee.
